The spa was incredible, really unexpected level of quality. The outdoor hot tubs with the view were something else, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience justified it.

Just a strong match for a short stayover in Thornton Hough with best value. The food at our wedding allowed us to enjoy great-sized portions, even if the menu was a bit limited. Be ready for high drink prices when looking for a refreshing beverage.

i had a really nice stay at thornton hall. the grounds were pretty and the decoration inside was awesome, felt really luxurious. the staff were super helpful and welcoming from the moment i arrived. the spa was clean and fun, especially the outside hot tubs! breakfast was buffet style and kept everything warm, which i loved.
but the room was a bit dated and could use some updates. The wifi was kinda slow. it felt a bit cramped when i wanted to chill out.

During my stay, I truly appreciated how close we were to both Parkgate Seafront, perfect for long, leisurely strolls, and the beautiful Lady Lever Art Gallery, which added a cultural flair to my weekend explorations. the tranquil grounds were another highlight, making it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the views. As a solo traveler, I found the quaint charm of the hotel appealing, but the dining experience could definitely use some improvement.

A delightful experience with excellent customer care from the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The dining options, particularly the culinary delights at dinner and the tasty breakfast, stood out. the availability of drinks during dinner could be improved, and the cleanliness in the room left something to be desired with dried spills and a cracked door. Despite a few hiccups, the spa facilities added a fun touch to our visit.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed two fun-filled days exploring the grounds and indulging in afternoon tea. The spa was relaxing, and the staff made the experience even better. Just a heads up, spa access is extra, so plan for that. a great getaway.
One downside was the restaurant's dinner portions. they were quite small and left us feeling hungry. Definitely not worth the high price.
